  • Security Engineering Security Engineering is one of the main fields of Safe Society Labs. We know that the key to build a secure system is proper security-aware engineering. The number of real world failure cases of projects that used state-of-the-art security technologies is huge, and all of them failed because these fancy, powerful and frequently expensive tools were used incorrectly; under wrong assumptions; or in the wrong context. Appropriate engineering can make your system more secure, and can even save some money. Moreover, it will save costs in maintenance, and more important avoid incidents that have huge costs not only in economic terms but also in reputation and public image.
  • R&D Safe Society Labs’ main focus is in R&D and technology transfer. Therefore we participate in different projects ranging from highly research-oriented, to final product development, always based on state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Consulting services A third pillar of our strategy is consulting services. We carry out activities such as security assessment and design, technology evaluation, security evaluation and guidance for project proposal preparation, including pre-evaluation of research project proposals
  • Technology transfer
  • Educational activites We also carry out educational activities. Based on the long experience of the group in European research programs, we have developed a full program designed to help companies getting involved in publicly-funded research programs. Our expertise is not only limited to technical aspects, but also cover administrative, financial, legal, and social issues.
  • Security in Service-Oriented Computing Security in Service-Oriented Computing and Service-Oriented Architectures.
